If so become one of Edinburgh's foster carers

Do you have what it takes to change the life of a child?

Are you 20 or older, in or out of employment, a homeowner or do you live in rented accommodation, are you single, married or living with a partner?

If so, you may well have what it takes to become one of Edinburgh’s foster carers.

There are 60 children in Edinburgh waiting to be found a home and there are more than 850 children currently being cared for across the city.

Carers are self-employed, based at home and have the benefit of the support of the resource team’s officer. All new carers are provided with full training and support during the build up to and the duration of placements, as well as generous allowances and rates of pay.

So if you have a good sense of humour, patience, commitment and can provide a safe environment to become a carer, please contact us.
