£22m towards improving Edinburgh's roads and pavements

This year the Council will spend £22m improving Edinburgh’s roads and pavements.

This follows a record-breaking three-year investment, which saw us improve more than 200 roads.

Along with maintaining and improving our city’s roads, major works this year include revamping the Royal Mile, South Bridge and Canongate.

We all experience the benefits of these works with better and safer streets.
