City swapping - two families experience each other's home city
When it comes to city rivalry, there’s not many places that can compete with Edinburgh and Glasgow...but in a new spirit of unity, two families – one from each city – crossed the great divide and sampled the joys of each other’s city.
The Burberry family from Edinburgh spent a magic weekend in Glasgow and the Murray family went east to the capital where nine-year-old Emma (below) got the best view of the city. [IMG1]
Who said a weekend away meant enduring either a long drive or airport queue? Sometimes the best things are right under our noses – or in this case, just at the other end of the M8.
