Mental health advice and assistance online for those seeking help
Did you know that one in four adults experience some sort of mental health issue at some point in their lives?
If mental ill health does affect you, or someone you know, it can be helpful to have access to information, support and knowledge of relevant services.
There is still a strong stigma attached to mental health problems which can make people reluctant to talk about how they are feeling.

To find out more at the touch of a button, a new informative mental health website has been launched.
As well as an online directory of mental health services in Edinburgh, the site includes fact sheets on a wide range of topics relating to mental health and well being.
The site aims to provide good quality, up-to-date information about mental health services and sources of health and support.
Edspace will help people to find appropriate mental health services in Edinburgh and make informed choices about treatment and care.
It will also give advice on how to maintain mental health and wellbeing.
The site has been created through partnership working between the Council, NHS Lothian and their voluntary sector partners. Edinburgh-based mental health charity Health in Mind is taking the lead in managing and updating the site.
