Council tenants can now enjoy the same protection and peace of mind as home owners, with a specially negotiated insurance package designed just for them.

Tenants home contents insurance will pay to repair the effects of fire or water damage, and replace stolen items with new ones.

You’re even covered if you lose your house keys and you don’t have to pay any excess if you make a claim. Tenants can pay their insurance premium fortnightly, along with their rent.
