And it is set to last for four fun-packed, fabulous days from 29 December.
Ensuring Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is going to be the best ever is rock band Kasabian, who are heading the list of stars.
Add to that the many attractions such as a spectacular aerial performance of the classic poem ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, a children’s ice rink, the Ice Bar in Princes Street serving hot chocolate, plus many more.
But it all starts weeks before when, from late November, Edinburgh will once again sparkle as 200,000 lights illuminate the city.
The twinkling cityscape will glitter as the much loved Big Wheel, Winter Wonderland and Christmas Markets open for business.
