Annie gives bin lorry a school makeover
A Council bin lorry has a great new look and is reminding residents to keep our city clean, thanks to the efforts of city pupils
Secondary schools across Edinburgh were asked to get creative for the environment by taking part in the auto art competition.
They were challenged to come up with an eye-catching design on an anti-litter theme to brand one of the Council’s refuse collection lorries.
Once all entries had been received, they were evaluated by a panel of experts and the best design was chosen.
Now the winner, Annie Forbes (left) from Firrhill High, will see her artwork being driven all over the city.
The school received £100 of high street vouchers thanks to Annie’s artistic efforts, which were presented at a special ceremony at the start of September.
