Cammy has his election day
Labour candidate Cammy Day has won the Council seat left vacant by the sudden death of Councillor Elizabeth Maginnis.
The 34-year-old youth worker took the Forth ward seat for Labour with a majority of 172 votes over the SNP’s second-placed candidate George Gordon.
Accepting the appointment, Mr Day paid tribute to Ms Maginnis and promised to ‘carry on her fighting spirit’ for those in the Forth ward.
