Get covered
What would you do if a fire damaged your home? What about your TV, DVD player, that new sofa?
Or imagine if a neighbour’s leaky pipe ruined your carpet!
How much would it cost you to replace your possessions?
If you’re a Council tenant, you can enjoy the same protection and peace of mind as home owners, with an insurance package designed just for you.
Getting insured is easy and good value with the special package the Council has negotiated specifically for their tenants.
Tenants’ home contents insurance will pay to repair the effects of a fire or water damage, and replace stolen items with new ones.
You’re even covered if you lose your house keys and you don’t have to pay any excess if you make a claim.
An application form along with a summary of the cover can be sent to you on request.
Because the insurance team at the Council has arranged this package especially for Council tenants, you won’t have to add locks to your windows or doors and you can pay fortnightly, along with your rent.
If you’d like to protect your possessions, get in touch with the Council for more information.
