The latest news on the tram line construction.
South Gyle Access Road:
From November 2008, for approximately six months, works to construct the retaining walls, bridge abutments and decking will commence.
This will involve traffic management measures with closure of a single lane in each direction and possible closures at weekends.
Russell Road:
From November 2008 for nine months, Russell Road will be closed to construct the retaining walls, bridge abutments and decking.
Gogar Roundabout:
Works started in August 2008 to construct an underpass beneath the A8 to connect South Gyle Broadway to the tram depot.
From December 2008 to March 2009, there will be three lanes closed eastbound. An additional eastbound lane will also be created.
Princes Street:
From January 2009, there will be tram works on Princes Street. Visit www.edinburghtrams.com for diversion details.
Gogar Depot:
From November 2008, works begin to construct the new depot.
