Oscars for all ages

An Oscar award ceremony has taken place in Leith and everyone was a film star!

With Leith currently undergoing a massive regeneration, younger and older residents came together to produce an inter-generational DVD about shared local issues…and had so much fun!

Pilmeny Development Project, Citadel Youth Centre and the Council’s Community Learning and Development Service have been working jointly to make this possible.

It is hoped that inter-generational work will be built into the forthcoming Community Plan (featured below) and that the DVD can be widely shared with other communities as an example of good practice.
