The 9th Annual Standard Life Achievement Award winners have just been announced with excellence and success commended in the Council’s Children and Families department.

In North Edinburgh:

• Congratulations go to Visiting Teaching Support Services who took the Director’s Award for their innovative project, Effectively Supporting Pupils with Down’s syndrome in the Mainstream School.
• North Edinburgh’s Hold the Fort Association was highly commended for their Hold the Fort project, which creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to acquire new skills.
