Park award is ‘Child’s Play’

In the 2008 Nancy Ovens Trust Awards for play, Hailes Quarry Park Play Area, Wester Hailes, was a commended finalist in the ‘Best Community Award for Play’ category.

The awards were presented by Adam Ingram MSP, Minister for Children and Early Years, at an event at The House for an Art Lover, Glasgow, in September.

A group of children and adults from the Wester Hailes community attended the event.
