£1.5m new disabilities service
A new service for people with a learning disability is set to open in Corstorphine.
The service will provide care and support for six young people with a severe or complex learning disability.
Operated by Carr-Gomm Scotland, the service will provide person-centred support for the young people who will live in adapted flats in a new housing development. It is due to open in May 2009.
The £1.5m three-year project has been funded in part by money set aside to meet the care needs of young people with learning disabilities who have complex care needs.
