Do you have a tale to tell?
ARE you the next JK Rowling or Irvine Welsh?
Maybe you see yourself more as a Danny Boyle?
If you are aged between ten and 19, then we want to know about the places and events in this city that mean something to you.
Here’s your chance to tell us your story about Edinburgh – where you live, what you do, where you hang out – and in any way you like.
You might want to write a story, create a blog, record a podcast, direct a film, paint a picture, draw a cartoon, take a photo – anything that gets across how you feel about the city.
We can arrange for professionals to come and work with you on your ideas and help arrange access to equipment and studios.
Selected works will be made into booklets, podcasts, an art exhibition and a DVD. A special screening of films made for Tales of the City will be shown in a city centre cinema later in the year.
Ask at your local library for more details and feel free to suggest any kind of art or artist/professional that you would like to work with. We are happy to work with, and to receive work from, individuals or groups..
