A LIFE-SIZED mock-up of the Edinburgh tram has become one of Scotland’s busiest visitor attractions.
A staggering 22,000 visitors jumped on board in its first week on public display.
The tram was situated on Princes Street to let people see the benefits of the system that will be up and running in the city in 2011. As well as being on public display for several weeks from late February, The model was also used for vital engineering and safety checks. See trams section for more information.
