…and we’ve got lots of travel options
Ways to travel in the city.
WORK to lay the tracks on Princes Street did not start on 21 February as planned as the tram project consortium, BSC, comprising Bilfinger Berger, Siemens and CAF wished to impose unacceptable conditions as a requirement to start in Princes Street. This was widely reported in the media at the time.
Trams will run from Newhaven to the airport via Princes Street, St Andrew Square, Leith Ocean Terminal, Omni Centre, the Gyle and Murrayfield Stadium.
When traffic is diverted from Princes Street, Princes Street Gardens and the shops will still be open.
