Update on construction
What's going on.
Gogar: Work on the A8 underpass started in 2008 and will continue until the autumn.
Gyle: Work will start on the walls of the Gyle tram stop this summer. This will be followed by work on the road and track works in the autumn.
Haymarket Yards: Work commenced in February to construct the Verity House Access Road on Haymarket Yards. These works are expected to last for about eight weeks with vehicular ad pedestrian access maintained on Haymarket Yards in both directions.Haymarket station car park: There is currently a temporary closure of the main station car park while a viaduct is constructed.
The Haymarket viaduct will bring the trams up to street level and into the city centre via Shandwick Place and Princes Street. Waterproofing to the base of the viaduct and excavations for its East abutment are under way.
Manor Place and Clifton Terrace: Utility diversions including gas, water, power and telecoms are still ongoing in both areas

Leith Walk: Scotland Gas Networks start work on their connections on Leith Walk in early March. This will include work on the carriageway and pavements, and access to properties.
Manderston Street: Work to construct a BT chamber south of Manderston Street will commence in early March for ten weeks.
