The Edinburgh Airport Youth Games
The biggest youth sports event in the city is taking place on 14 May.
The event, which attracts about 1,600 participants taking part in 11 sports, aims to inspire younger people to lead an active and healthy life through sport.
Edinburgh Leisure is working with The Gathering 2009 to bring a Scottish theme to the event. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Scottish heritage and even join in a mega ceilidh.
Applications to the event are being welcomed by every school in Edinburgh.
