In your neighbourhood, 91 per cent of the streets are clean, as measured in the latest CIMS (Cleanliness Index Monitoring Survey) in December 2008.
The Neighbourhood street cleaning team is focusing on tackling dumping and a barrow beat service will be introduced in the Portobello/Craigmillar ward.
Community clean ups have also improved the cleanliness of the East Neighbourhood.
We are working hard to tackle litter hot spots but we still need the public’s help to make it to 100 per cent.
Please bin all your rubbish, even the cigarette ends.
