Party time at Leith Links

Parents Like Us, the not-to-be-missed festival for parents with children under six, celebrates its fifth birthday in style this May at Leith Links.

The line-up features a string of top names in children’s entertainment, including Justin Fletcher MBE (aka Mr Tumble), Scotty & Lulu, CBeebies’ Big Cook and Mr Maker, authors Tony Mitton, David Wood and Janey Louise, as well as many other big productions and new attractions.

The festival, which runs from 8-10 May, expects around 30,000 visitors to attend more than 150 events taking place over the weekend. These also include a new ‘Dad Zone’, science activities, reduced-rate therapies, face-painting and storytelling.

Admission to most events is free, although there are some low-priced ticketed areas for shows and activities.

Parents Like Us is organised and staffed entirely by volunteers.
