You’re never too old...

Ever thought about learning a language?

Or perhaps you’ve always yearned to play the guitar. If so, the Council’s adult education programme starts in September.

A wide range of classes is on offer from woodwork to wine appreciation, from singing to surfing the net. The classes take place during the day, evening and at weekends and mainly run in schools and community centres.

Why not take this opportunity to further your knowledge or, in these uncertain times, pick up a new skill which might open more doors in future?

Other free classes can also be used to help improve literacy and numeracy. These are provided by CLAN. Call 0800 085 7672 for further information.

Fresh from celebrating 100 years of adult education last year, the new programme is extremely varied and all the old favourites will also be offered.
