Top tips will make life easier

Nip into the West End Village for restaurants, pubs, cafés and boutique shopping – with an abundance of on-street parking.

  • Near Princes Street, the Castle Terrace car park is quickly accessed from the West Approach Road off Lothian Road. Taste the freshest food from the Farmers’ Market on the car park rooftop, Saturdays 9am-2pm.
  • Edinburgh’s largest car park, Greenside Row, is at the top of Leith Walk with an elevated walkway to the St James Centre.
  • Pre-pay for parking if you are staying overnight at most on-street ticket machines.
  • Free on-street motorbike parking is available in designated places
