What is the best thing about Edinburgh in the summer (+) and what

facilities would you like to see in your neighbourhood to get the most out of the summer (–)?

+ My favourite thing is hoping we’re going to get a summer! I get around on my electric bicycle and enjoy doing a bit of gardening.

– The city is very good, but more attention should be given to cycle paths.

+ I enjoy going for walks in the Pentlands and the cycle paths.

– The streets could do with being cleaned a wee bit better.

+ I enjoy the Festival and Princes St Gardens, and going up Arthur’s Seat with my kids.

– There should be more free things for kids to do as they get bored over the holidays.

+ When the sun’s out, going down to Princes St Gardens and taking in the sights of the city. There is such a vibrant atmosphere during the Festival.

– The Council does well to keep on top of things when the population pretty much doubles over summer.
