125,000 visitors flock to mock-up

Display trams draws in the crowds

The Edinburgh Tram Project’s mock-up has had more than 125,000 visitors since it first went on show at the end of February this year.

The mock-up tram vehicle was situated at three locations along the city’s planned tram route over the past six months – Princes Street, Constitution Street and Ocean Terminal. It has provided a realistic insight for residents, visitors and light rail enthusiasts alike.

Many of the visitors filled out survey and feedback forms asking them for their perception of the trams project after having seen the mock-up.
