This year's Christmas and Hogmanay celebrations will be better than ever
It’s that time of the year again! Edinburgh’s Christmas celebrations kick off from 26 November and it’s bigger, better and more exciting than ever before.
Princes Street Gardens will be home to some of the big attractions, as the Edinburgh Wheel starts turning, skaters take to the ice rink in Winter Wonderland and the traditional German Christmas market opens for business.
Look out also for a massive snow globe, a living musical box with balletic acrobats and an extraordinarily realistic life-size animatronic polar bear.
But that’s only the beginning. The fun continues all through December, ending with Edinburgh’s Hogmanay – one of the greatest New Year celebrations in the world. Original nutty boys, Madness, headline at the Concert in the Gardens – guaranteed to be quite a party.
