Festive waste collection and recycling arrangements
All you need to know for Christmas and New Year
Red and blue box and blue bag collections
There will be no red and blue box collections or blue bag collections on 25 December and 1 January. If your collection falls on either of these dates, please continue to collect and store your materials for recycling and they will be picked up on your next collection day.

Community Recycling Centres Edinburgh’s four Community Recycling Centres will be open every weekday between 8am and 6pm and at weekends between 8am and 5pm except 25 and 26 December and 1 and 2 January.
