We need parents' views

Have your say on education

The Council is beginning its largest ever survey into parents’ views of education in the city. 

Over the next few weeks, parents whose children attend Edinburgh schools may receive, through pupil post, a questionnaire asking a number of questions about their views on education services and what improvements they would like to see.  

Half of the city’s schools will be participating in the survey this year and these schools have been asked to send copies of the questionnaires home to 20 per cent of their parents. The other schools will be surveyed in November/December 2010.

The survey will help shape the future of the city’s education services, so it’s important that we hear from as many parents as possible.
