Do you enjoy the events in the city centre over Christmas or is it just for tourists? Should there be more local Christmas events?

I enjoy the Christmas events, particularly the German market. I think there are plenty of events locally too.

We used to have a restaurant in Rose Street, so we were quite involved in the Christmas events and I think it’s really good. I think it’s okay that everything’s centralised.

I enjoy having a look around the stalls with my mother. We don’t do the ice skating but the family does. There should be more local events – there are certain places you could have them, not just for Christmas.
