Almond and Western Joint Housing and Built Environment Forum tours improvement works

The Almond and Western Joint Housing and Built Environment Forum took a bus tour around West Edinburgh to see the work that has been carried out as part of

a range of environmental improvement projects in the area.

The forum visited a number of projects in the area, including Kirklands sheltered housing complex, where new landscaping and a seating area had been introduced.

“Once a year we take the forum out to see for themselves the projects they voted on,” said Sam Smith, property team leader. “It’s great for them to see the work that has been carried out.”

Members of the forum include representatives from Gateside Tenants and Residents Association, Ratho Station Residents Association, North Bughtlin Tenants Association, and Queensferry District and Murrayfield Community Councils.
