We asked, is there enough for young people to do in the area? Do you enjoy the events in the city centre over Christmas or is it just for tourists?
William Douglas, Kaimes Road
There’s not really enough for them. They’re hanging about, so there must be a need. I do go into the city centre, it’s always good to get into the atmosphere.
Jane Mitchell, Forrester Road
I think there should be more. I tend not to go into the city centre. There’s so much here in Corstorphine and there’s less congestion. It gets too busy in town.
Brian Moffat, Corstorphine High Street
I’d say so. It’s not all that difficult to find something to do around here, we have a lot of parks in this area. No – it’s not just for tourists.
Linda Davie, Craigs Avenue
Teenagers do an awful lot of hanging about, although there is the community centre. It’s not just for tourists, I definitely enjoy what’s on.
Correction: In the last issue of Outlook West, the wrong address was printed for the refurbished Jacob’s Ladder in Queensferry. It is, of course, on the Hawes Brae.
