Switch off the lights for Earth Hour

Join us in helping create the world’s largest awareness event to show concern about climate change.

On Saturday 27 March at 8.30pm, individuals, communities and businesses around the world will turn off their lights for 60 minutes in support of WWF’s Earth Hour.

Edinburgh is again supporting this year’s event – switching off the lights at Council buildings, including the City Chambers, Waverley Court, the Scott Monument and Calton Hill.

Businesses, communities and individuals can all do their bit by simply flicking a switch. Let’s aim to have even more landmarks and businesses switching off this year.
