Show-stopping science
Festival celebrates 22 years this Easter
Do you have what it takes to become an astronaut? Ever thought about designing a best-selling computer game – or operating in an ER theatre using the latest micro-surgery equipment? Maybe you’d like to design and control your own robot?
If you fancy any of these challenges, check out the Edinburgh International Science Festival this Easter.
Celebrating 22 years of jaw-dropping, eye-popping, show-stopping science, this year’s festival takes place at some of Edinburgh’s most exciting venues – the City Art Centre in Market Street, the National Museum of Scotland, Our Dynamic Earth, the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh Zoo, the Botanic Gardens and the Scottish Seabird Centre.
You’ll be guaranteed explosive experiments, groundbreaking computer technology, state-of-the-art graphics and much, much more.
The festival also runs Big Ideas, a series of talks and workshops on everything from whales to making diamonds from peanut butter.
