Insulate your loft and get a rebate

Every household can now get a £60 Council tax rebate by installing a cavity wall or loft insulation.

You may also be entitled to a 100 per cent free grant if you live in a privately owned or privately rented house and are in receipt of certain qualifying income or disability-related benefits.

The Council is working with British Gas to provide free, no-obligation home insulation surveys.

British Gas is now offering subsidised cavity wall insulation from £250 and full loft insulation from £274.
