A window of opportunity at Lauriston
From lectures to craft workshops, there’s something for all the family
This summer Lauriston Castle is offering children and adults the chance to let loose their inner artist at their family craft workshops and fire up the brain cells at the Lauriston Lectures.
Come along to the Davidson’s Mains Children’s Gala Day, which is free for kids, design and make your own stained glass window or discover the hidden stories of the forest – just a few of the many activities on offer.
The lecture series give a rare opportunity to listen to some of Scotland’s foremost experts on a range of subjects from architecture to literature.
Lauriston Castle also offers a range of pre-bookable themed tours on a variety of subject like Edwardian social history, the furniture of Lauriston and the history of the gardens, to name a few.
Make sure you get a along to Lauriston Castle this summer. It’s a great day out!
